From its sources, Afrinpost learned that the Kurdish citizen “Ismat Jano” aged 45, had disappeared on the road to his village of Habu – Afrin, after he taking a patient to a hospital in Afrin.
The sources confirmed that the citizen Ismat was assisted on the night of Thursday, 5/11/2020, driving a sick villager with his car, to a hospital in Afrin, but he disappeared with his car and his fate is still unknown to this day.
The sources suggested that the security checkpoint established at Amara village junction, which belongs to the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia, was the one who kidnapped him.
It is noteworthy that the fate of hundreds of Afrin’s sons and daughters is still unknown, as the Turkish occupation authorities and their Islamic militias continue to launch more arrest and kidnapping campaigns against the remaining Kurdish citizens in the occupied region, as last October alone witnessed 127 cases of arrest and kidnapping.
