Afrinpost correspondent in Sherawa district said that an armed militia belonging to one of the families of Al-Zahraa city seized one of the ambulances of the Kurdish Red Crescent Organization in the area.
The correspondent indicated that the humanitarian organization that serves all residents of the surrounding areas, including Nubl and Zahraa, usually uses the roads connecting al-Shahba and Sherawa, passing through the towns of Nubl or Zahra, and there are usually no problems with that.
He added that last Friday / 6 November, a group of armed men belonging to the Al-Khatib family in the city of Al-Zahra intercepted an ambulance belonging to the Kurdish Red Crescent Organization, where two of their crew, a driver and a paramedic, were taken to one of the militia’s headquarters, which is naturally loyal to the “Syrian Regime”.
The reporter pointed out that the vehicle team was not subjected to any abuse, but they were informed that they had a problem with one of the Autonomous Administration institutions in al-Shahba, and that the ambulance, a Hyundai van, would be seized until it is solved.
The reporter added that the ambulance team was subsequently released, while the car that was seized by the militia, and it is still in the possession of these militants at the time the news is published.
