Coronavirus spread rapidly in Afrin … and the occupation authorities are procrastinating confronting it

The Afrinpost correspondent in the center of the “Mobata / Maabatli” district in the countryside of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, northern Syria, stated that the Turkish occupation had placed the villages of “Hassiya / Mirkan” and “Kakhire” in the district to complete quarantine, after the large increase in the number of infected in the two villages.

According to the correspondent, the “Sultan Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia occupies Kakhire village, while the “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia occupies the village of “Hassiya / Mirkan”.

The correspondent indicated that the occupation, which does not pay any attention to the lives of civilians in Afrin, has been procrastinating confronting Coronavirus from the start, indicating that the epidemic is now rapidly spreading among civilians, and that it is out of control.

According to what the correspondent quoted from a source located in Afrin city center, there are at least 14 cases in the old neighborhood of Afrin, and 8 cases in one neighborhood of Mahmoudiya.

The reporter pointed out that there are no specialized hospitals to receive the infected civilians, and there are no swabs to detect the disease, and he added: “There are many people who are really infected, and there are many who show symptoms, while the Turkish occupation and its militia devoted to theft, looting and kidnapping are procrastinating.
