Turkish intelligence is continuing the arrests campaign in the occupied Afrin region, and yesterday arrested a Kurdish youth in the village of Hekje, affiliated to Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid district
The Afrinpost correspondent reported that, yesterday, Monday, October 19, 2020, a Turkish intelligence patrol arrested the Kurdish youth, Jamil Zaki, son the mayor of the village of Hekje in Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid district in Jenderes district, and no additional information was received about his fate.
It is noteworthy that the village of Heikge, which is controlled by the “Al-Waqqas” militia, witnessed a massive kidnapping campaign in the hours of Monday 10/21/2020 dawn, and dozens of cars participated in the storming of the village, and the homes of the people of the village of “Hekje” in the sub-district were affected, pointing out that the raid took place in the hour 6 in the morning, while all the villagers were sleeping in their home.
The village of Hekje previously witnessed one of the horrific crimes on 18/4/2020 when the elderly Fatima Kanna (80 years) was killed and stolen. In an attempt to hide the truth, the “Al Waqas” militia carried out kidnappings shortly after the occurrence of the crime, they kidnapped members of her family and released them, and then returned to abduct members of the family also during the month of August, and released all the kidnappees at the end of the same month after paying a sum of one thousand Turkish liras for each person.
