The correspondent of “Afrinpost” in “Shara / Sharan” district center reported that the Turkish occupation intelligence, on Monday / 12th of this October, arrested the Kurdish citizen, Nabi Omar Jaafar, the mayor of the village of Ikidam in the district, and was charged with working with the previous Autonomous Administration. No additional information was available about the place he was taken to, or the ransom amount required from him.
It is noteworthy that a Turkish intelligence patrol, on the afternoon of the 5th of October, arrested the citizen Muhammad Bilal son of Hassan, family member of the mayor of Mobata / Maabatli, and charged him with dealing with the Autonomous Administration.
Most of the workers in the Municipal Council were arrested in the Mobata / Maabatli district center, and within three days, Turkish intelligence carried out arrest campaigns, raided homes and arrested 12 citizens.
On the ninth of last month, the Turkish intelligence arrested Subhi Rizk, head of the local council, in the district of Jenderes district.
