The so-called Nasr Hariri, head of the so-called coalition, continues his attempts to beautify the occupation in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, through the creation of the “Restitution of Rights” committee, which is nothing but an attempt to beautify the occupation and establish the demographic change, while the original people of Afrin assert that there is no solution but to end the occupation and expulsion of the Muslim Brotherhood militia, known as the “Syrian National Army,” and their settler families.
The coalition media reported the visit of the so-called Nasr Hariri, the head of the so-called “Syrian National Coalition of Opposition Forces” to the occupied city of Afrin, and that he was informed of the situation in the region, and the demands and problems of the people, as he met with the so-called “Restitution Rights and Grievances Shared Committee”, some mayors and members of Afrin Local Council, and the audience listened to the requests of the people and the difficulties they face, in addition to their needs in light of the difficult living conditions.
This comes after 31 months of violations, thousands of kidnappings and ransoms, security chaos, robbery and the seizure of thousands of homes, confiscation of 3 seasons of olives, and imposing taxes even on the shades of trees, so the coalition created a mock committee called “Restitution of Rights” and claims to have received 254 “grievance requests, ”and was able to solve most of them, while continuing to resolve the rest of the requests.
The original Kurdish people of Afrin confirm that what Hariri is doing in occupied Afrin is extremely dangerous, by limiting the number of violations and limiting it to a limited number of them, not exceeding the people of Afrin who remain in it, who constitute about 20% of its original population, and ignoring the forcibly displaced people.
In fact, the coalition works according to the goals that serve Ankara directly, at the expense of the Syrians ’pain. This was evident when the so-called“ Syrian National Council ”was established on October 2 2012 and it included people loyal to Ankara, either for nationalist or religious sectarian reasons, and some of them are obscure personalities, the Syrians don not know them, lost immigrants in Europe, and others from malevolent backgrounds, and for this reason, Burhan Ghalioun, George Sabra, Abdul Rahman Mustafa, Khaled Khoja and Muhammad Riyad al-Shaqfa, the general observer of the Muslim Brotherhood, met in Istanbul, to form the “National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces.”
The “coalition” supported the Turkish invasion and occupation of the Syrian regions, where in reality there is no independence for the coalition’s decision, while Ankara appeared through it as a party to the Syrian conflict, not a cause for it, and it manipulated the description of the occupation, through the so-called “Syrian National Army”.
The people of Afrin stress that the role played by the coalition, headed by Nasr al-Hariri, through visiting Afrin, is to beautify and stabilize the occupation, as the occupied areas are considered by the Muslim Brotherhood militants who make up the majority of that body, as “liberated”, despite the loss of security and chaos. All the violations committed, which have become a burden for them.
The people of Afrin affirm that it does not need the formal and propagandist occupation committees of restitution of rights and grievances in a fictitious manner, without holding the perpetrators accountable, the end of the occupation is only that guarantees restoring rights to their owners, rejecting any formula that maintains the occupation, as it will only mean digesting more rights and legitimizing their robbery.
