Afrinpost-Special
Yesterday, Wednesday, the “Military Police” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization arrested three Kurdish citizens in the occupied city of Azaz, as they were coming from Turkish territory towards the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria.
According to the correspondent of “Afrinpost”, the Kurdish citizens are: (Adnan Janji – Mustafa Sheikho – Bassam Qilij), and they are from the village of “Maratah / Maratah” affiliated with the center of the occupied Afrin region.
The correspondent added that the militia released the young man, “Bassam Qilij,” on the same day, while the fate of the others remains unknown until now, amid reports that the militia requested a ransom of $ 2,000 for their release.
The arrest of young Kurds comes with the aim of financial extortion, as arrests and kidnappings continue in the occupied Kurdish region, and include all age groups and are carried out arbitrarily according to ready-made charges. Last August witnessed an unprecedented record of the number of citizens who were arrested and kidnapped, reaching 118 people.
