The “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization prevented the Kurdish citizen “Amir Ibrahim” from going to harvest his olives in the village of “Khilner”, and asked him to present proof that the olive trees belong to him.
The Afrinpost correspondent said that when he took identification papers (a survey paper for the aforementioned field), they told him the papers were not regular, and that the olives were not for him, despite bringing witnesses from the village, but the gunmen refused the testimonies of the owners of the olive trees next to his olives, Amir is from the village of Mosinka, adjacent to Khilner, above the Birin factories on Rajo Road.
Afrin Post’s correspondents stated that a major disaster awaits the olive season this year, especially for the villages located on Jenderes and Maaratah road, and around the “Shara / Sharan” sub-district, and the Bulbula / Bulbul sub-district, and in particular the sites near which the settlement camps are located.
The correspondents pointed out that the settlers in the camps are stealing the green olives from the fields of the indigenous Kurds, to sell it for 600 Syrian pounds per kilo.
