Afrinpost – Special
The vehicles of the Turkish occupation continue to uproot the olive trees on both sides of the Jenderes-Yalanguz road in order to widen the road, without providing any financial compensation to the owners, according to the Afrinpost correspondent in the district center.
The reporter confirmed that vehicles continue to work on that road and have so far uprooted dozens of old trees from both sides of the road.
On the other hand, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that the “Sultan Murad Division” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, on the seventh of October, cut down approximately 4,400 olive trees near the “Teknah” shrine located on the road to the village of Qurnah in Bulbul / Bulbul sub-district.
These trees are owned by a number of citizens, and they are: (Hanif Ma’tik 1000 olive trees, Jamal Ma’tik 1000 olive trees, Rashid Sido 1000 olive trees, Mustafa Ibrahim 600 olive trees, Muhammad Kurd Khalil 500 olive trees, Ismail Kilo 300 olive trees) .
The residents protested in front of the Turkish military headquarters about the crimes committed by the Islamic militias, but the headquarters officials expelled them and threatened them if they filed a complaint again, instead of taking legal measures against the Muslim Brotherhood militants.
