Afrin Post-Special
Settlers and Islamic militia militants affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to carry out large-scale robbery operations in separate areas of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, according to the correspondents of “Afrinpost“.
In the context, an olive field was completely stolen between the villages of Qarataba and Qurtuqlaq, and the field is owned by the Kurdish citizen Hannan Rahman (forcibly displaced), indicating that the number of trees is 300 olive trees.
In the village of Baarafa, affiliated to “Shara / Sharan” district, the harvest of about 250 olive trees belonging to the citizen (Mannan Abu Azad) was stolen.
Also, the settlers stationed in the camp established in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood have harvested the crops of the remaining olive trees in the fields belonging to the citizens (Nuri Najjar, Muhammad Ammo and Haydar Sheikh Has from Trendeh), which are located near the irrigation canal, noting that most of the trees were cut down and their firewood was sold earlier.
On the other hand, the settlers who live in the camp near the Trendeh quarry stole olives from fields belonging to each of (Abu Ziyad Habib – Abd al-Rahman Muhammad – a member of the “Ammo” family) and they are from the village of Trendeh, and besides that, they break up tree branches to use them as firewood in winter.
The people of those fields file a complaint with the security checkpoint belonging to the “al-Shamiya Front” militia, but the gunmen told them literally: “If you complain about this another time, you will wake up the next day and your trees are uprooted!”
