Afrinpost – Special
Today, Wednesday, noon, the pro-Turkish-occupation militias kidnapped a Kurdish citizen while he was in his agricultural land surrounding the center of Jenderes district in the countryside of the occupied Afrin region, and took him to an unknown destination, according to the Afrinpost reporter.
The correspondent explained that the Kurdish citizen, Ahmed Hesso, was kidnapped while he was working in his field by an armed group affiliated with the occupation militia, without being able to determine the identity of the militia to which the kidnapping group belongs.
The reporter added that “Hesso Gel,” nicknamed “Daqeh” residing in the lower neighbor in the city of Jenderes, was beaten during his kidnapping and his personal phone was also confiscated and then he was taken to an unknown destination, noting that the gunmen are currently communicating with his family and negotiating with them to pay a ransom.
Arrests and kidnappings continue in the occupied Kurdish region, and target all age groups, and are carried out arbitrarily according to ready-made charges. Last August witnessed an unprecedented record of the number of citizens who were arrested and kidnapped, reaching 118 people.
