“Al-Fateh” militia imposes a 50% royalty on olive fields owned by the displaced people from the villages they occupy.
Afrinpost correspondent reported that “Al-Fateh” militia imposed a royalty of 50% on olive fields owned by the displaced residents of a number of villages in Afrin countryside, which are: (Maamla Ushagi, Kurka Fawqani, Kurka Tahtani, Arab Ushaghi and Drumeh plain).
The correspondent added that the militia stipulated that its share of the season be 50% net, as it bears the families of the displaced and their relatives at full costs for the production of oil from empty oil containers, transportation fees, farming and harvesting).
The imposition of a royalty with such a large percentage comes at a time when the media affiliated with the so-called Syrian opposition is promoting the propaganda of the formation of the “Redemption of Rights” committee, which is supposed to take upon itself the task of returning the taxes and royalties imposed on the people of Afrin, and everything that falls within the framework of fines such as a royalty season.
