Turkish occupation army brings military reinforcements to the occupied Afrin region

Afrinpost – Special

Afrinpost correspondent said that the Turkish occupation army brought, this evening, Tuesday, new military reinforcements through the Hammam border crossing into the occupied Afrin region, while the purpose of sending these reinforcements is not yet known.

The correspondent explained that six military vehicles entered through the crossing and headed to the military point in the village of Deir Ballut in Jenderes countryside, as well as 3 other vehicles headed to the village of Kimar in Sherawa district.

Although Ankara claims that it is not an occupying power but rather came to help the Syrians in liberating their areas, it is managing Afrin directly through the governor appointed by it and who stays in the government palace (formerly the Legislative Council) and raises its flag on it, imposes the Turkish language in schools and also introduced its currency in markets and it connected the region to a Turkish electricity and internet network, in addition to establishing dozens of military and intelligence points and bases throughout the occupied territory.
