The death toll of the Turkish soldiers rose to four, after another soldier died today of his injury, as a result of the attack on the Turkish military post at the Al-Ghazawiya crossing in the southeastern countryside of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, according to the Afrinpost reporter.
The correspondent explained that the Turkish soldier “Husayn Gatal” died of his wounds after targeting the Turkish base in the village of Ghazawiya in the southeastern countryside of Afrin yesterday, indicating that the operation confused the Turkish occupation soldiers and the militia gunmen who were in the Turkish military post and its vicinity, where the Turkish soldiers fled towards the Turkish military base in “Jalameh”, before a Turkish helicopter landed and evacuated the dead and wounded from the area, and seven militants of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia were killed in the same operation and several others were injured, as the injured were treated to the military hospital “The formerly Martyr Farzand hospital ” while the dead and injured Turks were transferred to Turkish territory.
While the Afrin Liberation Forces announced today, in a statement, that it has adopted an operation to target the headquarters of the Turkish occupation, on Tuesday, the 12th of September, in the village of Gazawiya, affiliated to Sherawa, indicating that it will publish the details of the operation on Monday.
The statement reads: “On September 12, our forces carried out an operation targeting the headquarters of the Turkish occupation army in the village of Ghazawiya in Sherawa district. Videos and results of the operation will be published tomorrow for public opinion.
The headquarters of the Turkish occupation forces in the village of Ghazawiya in the occupied countryside of Afrin had been targeted directly, which led to a violent explosion, which resulted in the killing of three Turkish occupation soldiers and 7 militants of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia, who were guarding the Turkish military post. Two of the dead militants belonged to the group of Nidal al-Bayanouni, and several others were wounded.
