Afrinpost-Special

Afrinpost correspondent in the center of “Bulbul” district in the countryside of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria said that “Suqour Al-Sham” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, ten days ago, cut 300 trees belonging to Rashid Suleiman in the village of Qizilbasha “ affiliated to the district.

The correspondent said that the Turkish occupation deliberately cut down the trees of the citizens who are still in Afrin, with the intention of deporting them as soon as possible from Afrin.

In this context, a source had previously told “Afrinpost” that a gunman told the people of Afrin that the Turkish officers told them that no Kurd should remain in Afrin.

Since the start of the Turkish occupation on March 18 last year, Afrin has witnessed the uprooting of thousands of forest trees, olive trees and others, and militias have also set fires in the mountains of the region, under the pretext of the presence of cells of the “People’s Protection Units/ YPG”.
