Kurdish woman killed by a mine explosion in Qasim village

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Kurdish woman (Amina Hussein Mamo) was killed after being wounded due to the explosion of a landmine, with an agricultural tractor in “Qesim / Qasim Village”, while she and her husband, “Nazmi Hannan”, were going to their olive field in the village.

On the 26th of September, the Afrinpost correspondent explained that a landmine exploded with an agricultural tractor on a dirt road in the “Karadaghi” area in the vicinity of Qasim village, wounding Nazmi Hannan Ismail (Hannan Qushu’s family) and his wife, Amina critically injured, while they were returning from picking “green” olives.

The explosion caused the front of the tractor to break down significantly, but it was not the first incident of its kind, as the village itself witnessed previous mine explosions, which resulted in the death of 3 citizens.

On September 15, 2018, citizen Ismat Habash Hannan Diko was killed by a mine explosion, and on May 29, 2018, a landmine exploded with an agricultural tractor in the vicinity of Qasim village, killing the citizen Jamal Sheikho and wounding several others.
