The fate of the Kurdish young man, “Firas Hajj Hamada Jaafar, 20 years old,” from the village of “Kurzeleh / Qurzeihel”, is still unknown, since his disappearance on the twentieth of March 2018, to add to the hundreds of stories of enforced disappearance and kidnapping followed by the Turkish occupation forces and their Islamic militias known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”.
According to sources close to “Afrinpost”, “Firas” left that evening from his home in the center of Afrin region with the intention of buying cigarettes, but he has not returned since that date.
In the context, the Military Police militia, on the fourteenth of last May, kidnapped the young man, “Nuri Ahmed Mustafa, 17 years old,” from the town of “Basouteh / Basouta,” of the Sherawa district, who is from the Al-Omairat clan, and was charged with dealing with the “Autonomous administration” as he was taken to an unknown destination, and his fate is still unknown.
Turkish intelligence, accompanied by armed men from the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia, led by “Abu Suhail” stationed in the town of “Mobata / Ma’batli”, on the afternoon of Wednesday / August 5 this year, kidnapped the citizen “Muhammad Hesko Hesko, 40,” from his (Sewing workshop) in the city of Afrin, Rajo Street, and he is from the village of “Khalilaka” in the district of “Bulbul” while he was living in the village of Gamruk. The reason for his abduction is still unknown, and he was taken to an unknown destination.
Likewise, on July 28, the Turkish occupation intelligence, accompanied by the armed men belonging to the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia, occupied the village of Maerska of the “Shera / Sharan” district, kidnapped the citizen “Abdullah Muhammad Ali,” nicknamed “Abboud,” from the people of the village of Maerska, for no reason, and they took him to an unknown destination, without knowing his fate until now.
From time to time Islamic militants abduct Kurdish civilians, in order to accuse them of fabricated charges, by making false accusations against them, claiming that they are carrying out bombing operations in Afrin or fabricating other charges, in addition to the kidnapping and torture of Kurdish women, for revenge and malicious reasons.
