Afrinpost – Special
Two days ago, the “Afrinpost” correspondent at the center of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, northern Syria, reported that two days ago, the Muslim Brotherhood militia kidnapped the Kurdish youth Khalil Ibrahim Najjar (21 years), from the village of Aghjaleh, of Jenderes district, and took him to an unknown destination.
Arbitrary arrests and kidnappings have increased significantly during this August, with the main aim of obtaining large sums of money in ransom in exchange for the release of citizens.
On the twentieth of last July, a patrol of the “Military Police” militia in Raju district arrested the mukhtar of Raju Khalil Othman Bakr, known as Abu Ibrahim (48 years old). More than a month has passed since his arrest without any accusation addressed to him, and his fate is still unknown.
In a related context, Turkish intelligence, in coordination with the “Civil Police” militia, raided the homes of a number of Kurdish citizens in the village of Dargireh, affiliated to Mobata / Ma’batli district, on the 30th of last June. Namely: 1- Imad Hussein Qadir, 2- Abdo Bin Muhammad Abdullah, 3- Muhyiddin Aliko, 4- Jamal Omar Aliko, 5-Sabri Ahmad Muhammad.
Imad Hussein Qadir, Jamal Omar Aliko, and Abdo Muhammad Abdullah were released after paying a ransom of $ 400, while the two citizens, Muhyiddin Aliku and Sabri Ahmad Muhammad, remained in detention, and no information is available about their fate.
