Opening of an exhibition and cinema presentation on the sixth anniversary of the Shangal massacre

The Yezidis Union and the Yazidi Women Union in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria opened an exhibition of photos of the massacre committed against Yezidis in “Shangal / Sinjar” by ISIS terrorists on August 3, 2014.

The exhibition was attended by dozens of members of local institutions and councils in Al-Shahba, in addition to the presence of the people of Afrin forcibly displaced people, to see pictures of the massacre that took place against the Yezidis.

After the opening of the exhibition, cinema presentation on the massacre of the Yazidis was displayed, which showed ISIS terrorists training Yezidi children to adopt their approach, how to exile women, as well as review the resistance Yazidis faced against ISIS terrorists.

The Yazidi villages in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria suffer from multiple persecution, as militants of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army” are fighting the Yazidi residents for their national identity and the religious one.
