Crisis Cell lifts the quarantine imposed on the “Ahrazeh” district in the Al-Shahba region

The Crisis Cell in Afrin region decided to lift the state of total quarantine that was imposed on the “Aharzeh/ Ahras” district in Al-Shahba canton in northern Syria, after it was confirmed that it was free of new infected cases with the Coronavirus.

“Muhammad Rida Alou,” 45 years old, died as a result of being infected with the Coronavirus, and resides in “Aharzeh / Ahras” district, and as a result, the Crisis Cell in Afrin province announced a complete quarantine on the district, for a period of 14 days, which ended Friday.

In this regard, the number of cases infected with Coronavirus in Al-Shahba reached 29 cases, including the death of two cases.

Humanitarian organizations operating in the region had appealed on Monday the tenth of August, all countries of the world and its human rights and humanitarian organizations led by the United Nations, the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the International Red Cross, calling on them to provide urgent medical and relief assistance in order to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic as much as possible and reduce the magnitude of the humanitarian catastrophe that could befall the region in general.
