The human rights organization Afrin – Syria said that the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood militias are continuing the kidnapping campaign in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, with the aim of blackmailing them to pay ransoms and forcing them to forcibly displace the region.
The organization stated that on the twenty-fourth of August, Monday, and at 10 o’clock in the morning, the “Military Police” militia raided the village of “Kurzeleh / Kurzaihel” of Sherawa district, and arrested a number of its citizens on charges of dealing with the previous autonomous-administration, and they are namely:
1- Ahmed Ibish Zakaria, son of Khadija, 42 years old.
2- Ahmed Ibash’s wife, Yasmine Abdo, daughter of Ibrahim and Fahima, 35 years old.
3- Walid Jamaanah, son of Ali and Khadija, 55 years old.
4- Subhi Jamaanah, son of Ali and Khadija, 60 years old.
5- Walid’s wife, Siham Saeed Jaafar, daughter of Houria, 40 years old.
6- Ahmed Alou Ibish, son of Ali and Gaza, 58 years old.
Where they were beaten and tortured during their arrest by the “Military Police” militia.
Local sources from inside Afrin reported that the armed men of “Al-Waqqas Brigade” militia, which occupies the village of “Sanareh” of “Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid” district, raided the house of the Kurdish citizen “Abdullah Hussein Mustafa Agha” on the twenty-fourth of August, at night, when they attacked him and hit him with hoses.
The source added, saying that “Al-Waqqas” militia, after beating the citizen Abdullah, stole his money.
Also, the “Military Police” militia raided a house in Afrin, in which 6 ISIS women were preparing to flee to Turkey through a smuggler.
