Afrinpost – Special
According to reliable sources, the person named Ahmed Mesto (Abu Aslan), who was a member of the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia, and a participant in the aggression on Afrin, was arrested, and no additional information was received about the arrest process and its conditions, which seem to have taken place in special circumstances in Space, time and style.
The so-called “Mesto” comes from the village of “Husseh / Merkanli” of the “Mobata / Ma’batli” district, and he joined the ranks of the so-called “free army”, early, and he did not leave it even when Ankara reformulated it in the name of “the national army” and participated in the aggression on Afrin Province.
News websites previously reported news of Mesto’s killing on June 7, 2018, but after that he returned and published on his Facebook page, saying that he was injured and was being treated in Turkey.
The date of the assassination attempt on Misto came 3 days after the attempted assassination of Abu Maryam al-Hasakawi, the leader of the so-called “Free Kurdish Brigade/ Misha’al Temo Brigades”, which is affiliated with the militia of the “Sultan Murad squad”.
In the context, the journalist Radwan Khalil mentioned, quoting from a Kurdish fighter, who he met in the “Sultan Murad” prison in the town of Hawar Kilis, with other fighters, two and a half years ago, and according to that fighter, three months after the occupation of Afrin, the so-called Abu Maryam al-Hasakawi was sent to the prison drown in his blood due to the violent beating. His nose and one of his ribs were broken, and was unable to move, walk, despite the fact that he was leader of one of the groups that recanted the Kurdish identity, and participated under the command of the Turkish army in the invasion of Afrin, he was leading militants to storm the villages of the countryside and then the city.
The fighter indicated that Al-Hasakawi stole a new red sports car, and he gifted it to a militia leader who is a relative of “Fahim Issa”, a leader of “Sultan Murad” militia, as a token of loyalty.
After a month of occupation, there was no longer a need for al-Hasakawi, so they fabricated the charge of spying and laboring for the PKK to get rid of him, arrested him and entered him in Afrin prison, where he was tortured with electric shocks, beatings and insults, for ten days, then they brought him to the prison of the Sultan Murad Squad, and threw him as garbage, However, the Kurdish prisoner (M) took care of him because of his Kurdish morals, and he did not treat him for his bad work and what he deserves.
After two months of continuous torture, the Turkish intelligence transferred “Al-Hasakawi” to Turkey and accused him of treason, where he died under torture, and they brought his body to the headquarters of the militia of “Sultan Murad” to hand it over to his relatives, but the militia leader “Fahim Issa” refused to tell his family about his death and his body was given to them, and he ordered to bury the body in the militia headquarters.
According to the Kurdish prisoner, Al-Heskawi told him, “I do not deserve all the care and kindness that I receive from you. I deserves to die and be burned, and all that happened to me because I betrayed my people and did not learn from history.” And he showed great remorse after the difficult experience he passed through and admitted to betraying his people.
The Turkish occupation has created models of employment for him, such as “Abu Maryam Al-Hasakawi”, “Ahmed Mesto” and “Issa Kadlo” (Abu Maryam Al-Afrini), a leader of the Afrin revolutionaries from the people of the village of Jalameh, and called Masoud Ibo (Abu Al-Majd Kumlah), the leader in Liwa’ Ahfad Salahuddin, and the so-called Azad Shaabu, a leader of Azadi Brigade, affiliated to the “Elite Army” militia.
