Afrinpost learned from its sources that a Turkish court sentenced a Kurdish citizen to life imprisonment, although he was kidnapped by an armed militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, because of his defense of his family, in the face of the militants!
In the details, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, stated that in one of the villages in Afrin countryside, it was customary for the militia gunmen to visit the house of the village chief appointed by the local council, and on the eighteenth of March 2019, a number of gunmen of “Muntasir bi-Allah” militia in e house of the village chief, including the gunman (M.S.), who was a frequent visitor to village chief’s home, without disclosing his sinister, hidden intentions.
And at about half past twelve o’clock in the middle of the night, the gunman (MS) surreptitiously went to the roof and under the cover of darkness, and slipped into where the daughter of village chief, a twenty-year-old girl, who woke up to the suspicious movement in the room, screamed at the loudest voice, her brother went to find out.
Upon his arrival, the gunman (M.S.) quickly escaped and disappeared from the scene, as the parents rushed to their daughter, and they learned about the matter, but they concealed the story from the neighbors who came to the house with the girl crying, and the parents answered the neighbors’ question that a thief had infiltrated their home with intent of theft and that he escaped with the discovery of his matter, and in the meantime, (MS) had gone on the run from the village chief’s house without drawing attention.
Despite the enormity of the betrayal of (M, S.) to his host, he proceeded to take revenge on the family after he was exposed. The gunmen returned to the village chief’s house two days later and arrested his 28-year-old son, and took him to the militia headquarters in the village, where he was beaten, insulted, and tortured, and then transferred to Turkish territory, where he was imprisoned.
The investigation continued in the Turkish prison with the son of the village chief under torture and abuse, and the court ignored the facts of the case, and the charge was fabricated, so the young man was forced to confess that he was dealing with “People’s Protection Units” in fear for his life, and after a while he was presented to the court that issued a life imprisonment decision for him.
The arbitrary rulings launched by the Turkish judiciary against the people of Afrin are repeated, despite the organizations ’objections to that, and considering it illegal.
