Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood who call themselves “the Syrian National Army / Free Army” kidnapped two Kurdish youths in the tenth of July this year in Al-Ashrafiya neighborhood, and they are both “Abdul Rahman Ahmed” from the people of “Arandeh” village, and “Ayoub” who is from the village of “Juwaiq”.
“Afrinpost” correspondent in the Kurdish regional center of Afrin stated that “Abd al-Rahman” works in a grocery shop, while the other owns a sewing workshop, and the kidnapping was carried out with a van, from their workplace in Al-Ashrafieh.
Islamic militia continues to kidnap Kurdish indigenous people in the occupied city of Afrin, in the north of Syria, in order to collect funds by imposing financial ransoms on the families of the kidnapees.
Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, which is one of the methods they followed since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation supervises these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
