On July 22, the “Failaq Al-Sham” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood arrested the Qatari channel team, which supports the Muslim Brotherhood’s international organization, for filming a report about the train station in the town of Meydan Akbas in Raju district.

The Afrinpost correspondent in Raju district confirmed that the team went with “Yadan Biyad/ Hand in Hand” organization, which claims engaging in charitable works, in order to film a report on the activities of this organization regarding people with disabilities.

However, the team wanted to film another report, about the old train station in the town, but the militia arrested the team, and the cameras and telephones were confiscated, under the pretext that it is a military zone and filming is forbidden.

The correspondent added that what is known as the “Syrian National Coalition” led by the Muslim Brotherhood, had mediated with the militia until the team was released, noting that the arrest process had lasted for 5 hours.
