“Al-Hamzeh Squad” militia robs the houses of elderly Kurdish women in Quda village, Raju

Looting and robbery by the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, in the occupied Kurdish Afrin region in northern Syria, continues with the encouragement of the Turkish occupation authorities.

In the context, a source for the Afrin Activists Network stated that the militia of the “Al-Hamzeh Squad” militia had looted and stole several houses in the village of Quda, in the Raju district.

The source said: The five houses that were looted belong to the citizens: 1- The “Hamid Arab” house: a cellular device – solar energy system – household items, 2- the house of “Arifa Suleiman” the widow of Rifaat Haji Musa, a sum of 200,000 S.P. 3- The house of “Arifa Haji Musa,” the wife of Subhi Haji Musa, household items were stolen.

Household items were stolen from the houses of both “Nazliya Sheikho”, widow of Haider Haidar, and “Khalida Haji Musa”, widow of Hussein Qanboor, too.

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood often commit criminal acts against Kurdish women in Afrin, among them in the “Meydan Akbas” village of Raju district in Afrin countryside in November 2019, when an armed group of “Failaq Al-Sham” militia stormed the houses of a number of Kurdish citizens, and assaulted them, including a pregnant woman, which led to her miscarriage.

On the twentieth of this July, a report by “Afrinpost” touched on the situation of the Kurdish elderly “Mawlida Noman, 62 year-old,” who has been kidnapped for a year and three months, after fabricating a charge against her, and demanding her family to pay 4 thousand dollars to release her.
