4 young Kurdish men kidnapped from the village of Termisha, Shieh

The Kurdish legal authority said today, Thursday, that Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood had kidnapped Kurdish citizens from the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin on Monday \ 27th of July.

The commission stated that the militia of the “Sultan Suleiman Shah \ Amshahat” militia, led by the so-called “Muhammad Al-Jasem Abu Amsha”, kidnapped a number of the people of “Termisha” village of the “Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid” district, under the pretext of dealing with “autonomous-administration” .

The commission presented the names of the kidnapped citizens, namely: 1- Farid Sido bin Khalil 20-year-old 2- Fawzi Hassan bin Nuri 30-year-old, 3- Ismat Khalil bin Ahmed 27-year-old, 4- Kamal Ahmed bin Hassan 28-year-old, when they were taken to an unknown destination .

The commission noted that there are a number of young men from the village whose fate is still unknown for more than two and a half years (during the Turkish invasion of Afrin), including “Hamid Issa Bakr 19 years old”, who was kidnapped during the Turkish invasion in March 2018 and his fate remains unknown.

Likewise, the citizen “Hassan Ahmed Bin Amin”, who was kidnapped more than nine months ago, and the citizen “Ahmed Rashid Ahmed”, who was kidnapped a week ago, during his visit to one of his relatives detained in the Marateh prison.

This comes in the context of continuing restrictions on the indigenous Kurds of Afrin by the Turkish occupation authorities and the Muslim Brotherhood militia, to push them out of their homes and complete the demographic change plan, by following kidnapping campaigns, impoverishment and starvation, and imposing royalties and financial ransoms.
