The militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, and their settlers, continue to seize the property of the Kurdish indigenous people, by armed force and coercion, in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, despite the presence of some of the owners, without any Religious, moral or legal deterrent.
In this context, the militia “Sultan Suleiman Shah,” known as “Al-Amshaat”, expelled a Kurdish citizen from his home in Al-Mahmudiyah neighborhood, after threatening to kill him, and instead replaced a family of an armed militant who is a member of the militia itself.
Afrinpost learned through its sources in Afrin center, that Al-Amshah gunmen expelled the citizen “Ismat Mamad” from his home in Al-Mahmudiyah neighborhood, and instead they settled a family of an armed man, who works with them.
Ismat’s brother, Adnan Mamad, also published a post on his page on Facebook confirming the report and also said that the gunmen threatened his brother either to went out the house or being killed.
In a statement to “Afrinpost”, “Adnan” said that his brother and his wife “Houria Ibrahim” have three children, Lazgin, Necirvan and Mirvan, and that his brother and his family are now somewhere in Afrin without mentioning where they are now.
He added, “I say to those who took my brother and his family out of his house, we love life and love our children like you, we live on our land that we inherited from our ancestors from whom we inherited love and honesty and not to infringe on anyone unjustly, our homeland is Kurdistan and we want to die on the land of Kurdistan.”
Adnan appealed to all Kurdish parties. He said, “Kurdistan is the land of every kurd and it is his right to live in dignity, we are done living in dire state as a reason of your political differences.”
He added at the end: “My brother’s family is not the first and will not be the last to be expelled from their home, but it is the beginning of demographic change. I hold the Kurdish parties the responsibility in the case of any harm to my brother and his family.”
