Afrinpost – Special
From the first days of the Turkish occupation, occupation forces intentionally seized a residential area in the city of Afrin, turning it into a military zone after Islamic militias looted all the household furniture and the rest of the property from it.
In the context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the occupied center said that the area consists of about 75 houses, and is located in the area between the former Asayish headquarters and Al-Taqaddom primary School in Al-Ashrafieh district, noting that the area has been turned into a military zone where Turkish soldiers are stationed in a villa in the middle of the seized residential area and was formerly a headquarters of the Women’s Protection Units YPJ.
The reporter emphasized that the occupation forces, through Turkish Turksat, demolished a number of houses and transported the remnants of the demolished houses to the eastern bank of the Afrin River, after they had extracted the armed iron, and did not allow their owners to take out their properties from those ten houses (demolished only).
As for the rest of the houses, the Islamic militias brought loaders and trucks and plundered everything from the houses and at the sight of their owners, and they extract electricity wires from the apartments, and cracked kitchen decorations and plundered even toilet stones!
The correspondent pointed out that the owners of apartments and buildings located in that residential area had gone at the beginning of the occupation period, to the headquarters of the Turkish governor, to submit their complaints to him, but they were not received.
The Afrinpost documented the names of a number of the owners of the houses that were demolished, and they are: (Aref Qatama – Abdo Terenda – Ahmad Othman – Haider Haider)
As for the names of the owners of the houses that were seized, they are as follows: Rashid Muhammad (Juwaiq) – Ahmad Rashid Muhammad – Adnan Rashid Muhammad – Walid Abdo – the family of Razzo – Ali “The owner of a water tanker” – Kawa Bakr – Abdo Bahri – The Chawish Family (Ma’batli) – Nadim Sheikho (residential building) – Sobhi Jemmu – two families fromAl-Bab – Izzat Abdo (a house and a building) – Bakr Hesso- Ezzeldin Sheikh Hamzah – Kamiran Khalil – Rezan Khalil – Amal Seedo – Horik Hesso – Abu Abdo Terendeh – Zakaria Habash (4 houses) ) -Yahya Habash (two houses) – Rashid Khuja – Sharif Najjar – Za’faran Muhammad – Hamid Qastal – Abu Bahjat (Qibar).
In this regard, the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood deal with the homes and properties of the displaced Kurdish residents, or even those present, on the basis that they are the spoils that the Turkish occupier has given them as a reward for their work!
