Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, continue to use kidnapping and arrest as a means of blackmail, pressure and restrictions on the remaining Kurdish indigenous people in the occupied Afrin region, with the aim of displacing them from their homes for the benefit of settlers loyal to them.
In this context, the “civilian police” militia affiliated to the Turkish occupation launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the village of “Ma’mal \ Ma’ml Uoshaghi” of the Raju district, and arrested three Kurdish youths, according to the Afrinpost correspondent in the district.
The reporter stated that the “Civil Police” militia, in cooperation with the “Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh” militia, stormed three houses in the village, and arrested (Lawand Omar, 20 years old, Muhammad Mannan Barim, 32 years old, and Jwan Shukri Omar, 20 years old), under the pretext of belonging to “People Protection Unites/ YPG”, noting that the kidnapees were taken to an unknown destination.
“Afrin Post” learned through its sources on the fourth of June, that the Turkish government, within the framework of the arrest of the Afrin Kurds, arrested a citizen from the village of “Burj Haydar” in the Shirawa district of Afrin, and the sources said that the kidnapped is called “Juma’a Ahmed”, and he went to Turkey for cancer treatment, and added that Ankara had arrested him on charges of affiliation with the Asayish forces in Afrin.
