Afrinpost – Special
A settler from Idlib sold 3 apartments belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Ismail/ a contractor” to settlers from Hama countryside, for 600 USD per apartment.
The building, which includes three apartments, is located to the south of the industrial zone in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, in the center of Afrin, while the displaced Kurdish contractor, Ismail, is from the residents of “Ashkan Sharqi / Ashka Rojhalat”, of the “Jenderes” district.
In the same context, an armed group led by “Naim” in the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” sold a number of real estates located on Al-Sarafis Road in the Ashrafieh neighborhood to the settlers, where they proceeded to build shops in them.
Other settler took over the house of the displaced Kurdish citizen, Rashid Fares, from the people of Ma’mla village, to steal granite, doors and toilet stones from the house, and sell them in the city market.
These incidents are only a continuation of the ongoing robberies and appropriations since the occupation of Afrin, in addition to preventing the Islamic militias in most villages, many citizens returning to their homes and properties after seizing them, on the pretext that they have become military headquarters for the Islamic militias, or that settlers with families of the militants have settled in!
