Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to kidnap and hide hundreds of people from the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, since the first days of the Turkish invasion on January 20, 2018.
In the context, the “Afrinpost” reporter at the “Bulbul” district center said that the fate of a brother and sister,. who have disappeared since the beginning of the Turkish occupation of the region, is still unknown.
According to the reporter, on March 23, 2018, the family of the young man “Hamzah Shaaban Ibrahim / born in 1992” and his sister “Asia Shaaban Ibrahim/ born in 2002″, has no information about their fate. Noting that they are from Khalilaka village of Balbala district.
The reporter stated that they were kidnapped from the “Hasandeerah” village junction, and their fate remains unknown.
On the first of last April, the “Families of Detainees Foundation” in Afrin had demanded that the Turkish occupation authorities oversee the violations of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood under the name “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, and release the kidnapees in their prisons.
