Two armed men assault an elderly settler in Afrin … and take over his motorcycle

As a result of their differences, incidents of looting and conflicts between the militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood on the one hand, and some settlers who were brought by the Turkish occupation to settle in Afrin after the displacement of the indigenous Kurdish people on the other hand, occurred.

In the context, a source told the “Afrinpost”, that two gunmen belonging to a leader in the militia of “Sultan Murad Brigade”, had attacked the home of an settler elderly, assaulted him and stole his motorcycle, amid the increasing of these cases among the tools of the Turkish occupation in Afrin.

A source from inside Afrin told “Afrinpost” that the gunmen “Mustafa and Abu Saqr”, who are from the “Chechen” militia group of the “Sultan Murad” militia, stormed the home of a settler elderly from Al-Ghouta, beat him and stole his motorcycle.

The source said that the house that the settler seized is located in the old Afrin neighborhood, and that all the residents of the neighborhood saw the gunmen when they stormed his house.

The source pointed out that the cases of theft had increased in Afrin, because the Islamic militia legalizing everything in it for themselves under the pretext that they had “liberated it”, while these cases come after Ankara did not pay the salaries of some of the militias because of their refusal to go to Libya, which is considered a mutiny against Turkey.
