The Turkish occupation and its Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood continue to shell the villages of the Shirawa district and the Shahba regions from time to time, with the aim of spreading a state of anxiety between the displaced people of Afrin, and causing human and material damage to property.
In the context, the “Afrinpost” correspondent in Al-Shahba said that the Turkish occupation army and its Muslim Brotherhood militia shelled with heavy weapons this evening, Wednesday, the villages of (Sumouqa and Tal Madiq) of Al-Shahba, with heavy weapons, where the shelling continued for several hours, without casualties.
After the bombing of the villages (Sumouqa and Tal Madiq), the Turkish occupation forces shelled the villages of (Maranaz, Malikiyah and Shawargha) in the “Shara / Sharan” district.
Tens of thousands of displaced Afrin people live in the villages of Shahba and Shirawa, those who fled their land under the barrage of Turkish bombing and crimes committed by the militants of Islamic militias.
They continue their lives in their forced displacement, with the various endless difficulties like, losing jobs and the dilapidated houses in which they reside, and the shelling of the occupation from time to time, waiting for the day when they will return to Afrin after liberating it from the occupiers.
The last large-scale bombing operation took place on May 3, when the occupation forces and their agents shelled the villages of (Al-Shawaragha, Al-Malikiyah, and Marnaz), in addition to shelling the vicinity of the Faisal Mill and the villages (Meng, Kashtar, and Der Jamal Road).
