The Turkish occupation and its Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood continue to shell the villages of the Shirawa district and the Shahba regions from time to time, with the aim of spreading a state of anxiety between the displaced people of Afrin, and causing human and material damage to property.
In the context, the “Afrinpost” correspondent in Al-Shahba said that the Turkish occupation army and its Muslim Brotherhood militia shelled the villages of Shara and Shirawa districts in Afrin countryside on Sunday, using heavy weapons.
The reporter pointed out that the shelling hit the villages of (Soghankeh, Aqibah, Khrbke and Deir Jamal) in the Shirawa district, and the villages of (Shawaragha, Qal’at al-Shawaragha, Mara’naz and Malikiyah) in the “Shara/ Sharan” area, noting that after the shelling, an unidentified warplane flew over the villages of Shirawa and Shara.
In the context, the Turkish occupation army also hit with more than 8 shells, the forest located between the villages of Soghankeh and Aqiba, which led to starting a fire in the forest, while the reporter said that a Russian delegation accompanied by ambulances rushed towards the forest, without clarifying whether there were victims or not.
Tens of thousands of displaced Afrin people live in the villages of Shahba and Shirawa, those who have left their land under the barrage of Turkish bombing and crimes committed by the militants of Islamic militias.
