Afrinpost – Special

Yesterday, Sunday, the Turkish occupation forces released the leader of the “Civil Police” militia in Afrin, “Rami Tlass”, who is from the city of Rastan in the northern countryside of Homs, after his arrest for about a month, on charges related to administrative and moral corruption, according to the reporter “Afrinpost”.

Tlass was arrested at the end of last March, due to a adenunciation from a militant of “Sultan Suleiman Shah” called “Muhammad Al-Jasem / Abu Amsha”, to make way for his relative, “Amer Al-Muhammad”, nicknamed “Azab,” who previously held the position of deputy director of “ Afrin Police. ”

To that, the militia of the “Military Police” today, Monday, separated some of the militants of “Ahrar Al-Alsharqia” working within its ranks, without clarifying the reasons for the separation, as each militia appointed some of its militants within the militia that was created after the occupation of Afrin in March 2018.

“Abu Amsha” had arrested earlier all militants of the “Military Police” in the center of the “Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid” district, because of the rape case filed against him by a wife of one of his gunmen, who appeared in a video clip and confirmed that Abu Amsha had raped her .

The media loyal to Islamic militias had reported on the 31st of March that the occupation intelligence had arrested the leader of the so-called “interim government” which in turn is linked to the so-called “coalition” “Rami Tlass”, on charges of sexual assault, without revealing any details about the charge or the victim.

According to the websites loyal to the Turkish occupation, Tlass is “known for his bad reputation, and is known for his extreminal relationships, although these attributes do not apply to the so-called Tlass alone, since they are common characteristics of all Islamic militia leaders known as the “Syrian National Army.”

The so-called “Tlass” is a defected lieutenant colonel from the Syrian regime forces, and he served as a lieutenant colonel in the “Civil Police” militia too. He is from the city of Rastan in the northern Homs countryside, and a settler in the Kurdish region of Afrin, after he participated the occupation under the banner of the Turkish occupation .

“Tlass” had led, on the orders of the Turkish occupation, the “Civilian Police” militia in Afrin in the middle of 2018, after he pursued an officers training course, while he worked with the “Army of Islam” militia expelled from Eastern Ghouta in Damascus.

In the context, a website loyal to the Turkish occupation disclosed on April 2 some information that shows the size of intrigues among the armed leaders affirm against their rivals in the Turkish occupation, in order to be promoted to military position by the Turkish occupier.

The site, called “Al-Jisr” reported that on March 31, the Deputy Director of Afrin Security, Lieutenant-Colonel Amer Al-Muhammad, signed a suspension of work that included his immediate boss, called “Colonel Rami Tlass, director of Afrin Security and the policeman Salem Tlass besides to ten other elements.

The site said: “It was strange for Muhammad to sign the decision to suspend his superior in rank and position from work, especially that he is a civilian granted his military rank” Lieutenant Colonel “without any academic qualification”

Adding: “The sources stated that the arrest of Tlass came as a measure from his deputy, Muhammad, who, throughout the past period, had sought, through a series of informations and conspiracies, to dismiss him from his position as director of security in Afrin.”

The website continued: “The same sources confirmed that Muhammad is a civil person and has nothing with military service, and that he was granted the rank of” Lieutenant Colonel “and appointed as the ” Deputy Director of Afrin Security “with the support of his cousin Muhammad Jassim (Abu Amsha), the commander of the” Sultan Suleiman Shah Brigade “known as Al-Amshat”.

In a confession confirming that all the militants of the militias of the so-called “Syrian National Army” affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood have the same low moral level, the site said: “The sources indicated selectivity in the Turkish intelligence agencies’ handling of the violations committed by leaders and elements of the “National Army” factions and use accusations to liquidate them.

The site recalled a similar incident and said: “In September of the year 2018, Turkish intelligence appointed Colonel Muhammed al-Daher as director of Azaz security after the dismissal of Colonel Ahmad Zaidan (Haji Huritan) and his aides Abu Jamil Bakur and Abu Yassin Dabiq, after they refused to release the accused of rape.”

The website concluded by saying: “The sources in the Afrin Security Directorate pointed out that the prisons of the security directorates in northern Syria are filled with elements and leaders of the National Army accused of rape and harassment cases, beside cases of murder, robbery, looting and kidnapping for the purpose of extortion and imposing royalties.”
