The Afrinpost correspondent in the Shirawa district in the rural Kurdish occupied Afrin region, said that the Turkish occupation militias and the Muslim Brotherhood are trading with the forces of the regime, by smuggling people, goods and livestock in the area between the village of “Brad / Barad” of the Shirawa district, and the town of ” Nubl”.
The correspondent confirmed that the militia of the “Hamza Squad”, occupying the village of Brad, continues to trade with the militias of the regime in the town of Nubl, where gas cylinders, fuel and livestock are smuggled, adding that intra-trade also includes human smuggling, as each person is smuggled for 300 dollars.
In addition, the Turkish occupation militias continue to excavate archaeological sites in search of historical burials and treasures that are searched for through special devices brought in by special Turkish intelligence teams to the region.
The correspondent confirmed that gunmen from the villages of “Kafr Hamra” and “Anadan” have been carrying out for a week, drilling operations in the area between the villages of “Kurzele / Kurzeihel” and “Turinde / Al-Zarifa” in the center of Afrin, indicating that he had received news that they had found archaeological burials, which were shipped by cars with special numbers to Idlib.
The correspondent added that similar work is taking place in the area between the villages of “kurzele/ Karzehel” and “Basoute / Basuta”.
After the Turkish military occupation, smugglers from the towns of Nubul and Al-Zahraa transferred Afrin people from Al-Shahba and Shirawa to Aleppo with sums of money that reached nearly a million and a half for each person, and lately was decreased to between 75 to 200 thousand Syrian pounds.
It was clear from the evasion of the Syrian regime in defending the Syrian border in Afrin, its prior agreement with the Turkish invasion, mediated by Russia, to occupy certain areas in exchange for the regime remaining in power, and to remove the militants affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood from demanding its overthrow, in exchange for the resettlement of their relatives in the areas that Ankara Occupied in Afrin and east of the Euphrates.
On October 15, 2019, Russia revealed that the governments of the two regimes in Syria and Turkey are in constant dialogue and talks on the impact of the Turkish operation in northern Syria, stressing that any clash between the two parties will be prevented.
