The uncle of the Syrian minor, Abdo Sheikho, 15 years old, who was sent by Ankara from Afrin to fight in Libya, said that his family does not know anything about him, and does not have information on his fate, accusing the “Samarkand” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood of forcing him to fight in Libya.

Najib Sheikhu, the kidnapped child’s uncle, added, in an interview with Al-Arabiya, that they have no interest in fighting, neither in Libya nor in Turkey, and that they are civilians who have nothing to do with war.

Earlier, the family of Sheikho, who was sent by Turkey from Syria to fight in Libya, urged the international community to reveal the fate of the kidnapped minor by the militias of Ankara.

Hawar Agency reported that “armed elements from the Samarkand militia of the Turkish occupation in northern Syria, which is led by a mercenary named Abu Jihad, sent the minor to Libya on April 15”.

The family of the minor demanded that the Turkish occupation be held accountable for committing war crimes against civilians in the occupied Syrian city of Afrin.

The agency revealed in a report that the Syrian minor was tortured for about two months by Turkish mercenaries in northern Syria, before being pushed into the furnace of the Libyan war alongside the militias of the Al-Wefaq government in the face of the Libyan army.

Najib Sheikho, the uncle of the kidnapped minor, appealed to international organizations concerned with children’s rights, to intervene immediately to reveal Abdo Sheikho’s fate as soon as possible and return him to his family, and the uncle of the child is displaced from Afrin and currently resides in Al-Shahba district.

The uncle revealed that Abdo is the only son of his elderly parents, who suffer from chronic diseases and need hin to take care of them, and their plight increases due to the fate of the missing son.

Najib Sheikhu also called on the international community to hold the Turkish occupation accountable for committing war crimes against unarmed civilians in Afrin and plunging Kurdish children into battles in other countries.

Najib Sheikhu explained that mercenaries kidnapped civilians in the villages of Afrin who have children in European countries, to force them to send money to release their families.
