Afrinpost – Special
The occupied region of Turkey, which extends between the cities of Jarabulus and the Afrin region, known in the areas of “Shield of the Euphrates” and “Olive Branch”, is witnessing explosions, sporadic and repeated fighting and clashes between the militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, “most of the reasons are due to personal differences and regional conflicts,” according to the pro-militias media.
In the context, the road between the occupied city of Azaz and the Afrin region was closed in front of civilians after armed fighting erupted between the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” and the “Military Police” in Azaz a few days ago, in light of the continuing tense situation.
Afrinpost learned from a private source that the road between Azaz and the occupied Afrin is closed due to tension in Azaz, after fighting took place between the militias of the “Al-Shamiya Front” and the “Military Police”.
While a woman from Azaz said that she wanted to return to her city, but she could not, and stated: “We cannot even return to Azaz.”
In the context, the Afripost reporter at the Afrin center said that there is a state of anger among the militias against the “Military Police” militia, and that the “Sultan Murad Brigade” and “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia go to Azaz to support the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia.
The reporter revealed that the reason behind the militias’ anger at the “police”, is that the Turkish occupation army delegated them with full responsibility, and give them the right to shoot at any gunman who crosses boundaries, pointing out that the militias are paralyzed, and their militants say that everyone abandoned them and left them even Turkey.
