In the context, the “Afrinpost” reporter at Afrin center said that thieves stole a grocery store belonging to the Kurdish citizen (Hussein Muhammad) from the village of “Iska / Iskan” in the Shirawa district on the night of Friday, the 29th of May. , In Ashrafieh neighborhood.

The reporter pointed out that the thieves made a hole in the wall of the store through it they could enter to the residential building the store belonging to, and then stole the foodstuffs, including cigarettes, vegetable oils, tea boxes, etc., indicating that the thieves also stole 250 thousand Syrian pounds from the same shop.

The reporter added that the value of the losses of the Kurdish citizen amounted to more than one million Syrian pounds, noting that the region where the robbery took place is subject to the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front”.

The incident is only a continuation of the ongoing robberies and appropriations since the occupation of Afrin, which has recently targeted particularly the elderly Kurds who reside alone, while many of them have faced killing beside theft.
