The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has learned that the “Military Police” militia in Afrin has arrested a settler “civil activist” of Al-Tadamon neighborhood in the capital Damascus in Jenderes district in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, in northern Syria.
The observatory said that they had arrested him because of a post on social media, in which he criticized the situation of the militia “Military Police” and the Turkish occupation flag on their new clothes and described them as hypocrites.
In the context of intimidation and humiliation spread by the militants from Ankara agents to the settlers, it recently began to emerge voices from these settlers who were deceived by the promises of the Turkish occupation, and they coordinated behind him, to implement its policies in the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds and the demographic change of Afrin, so that they themselves begin to denounce the practices of the militants, after it began to be practiced against them, despite their neglect of it when it was practiced against the indigenous Kurds of Afrin alone.
In this regard, a settler journalist from Al-Ghouta who participated in supporting the Turkish invasion of Afrin, wrote in order to deprive its people of their right within the system of “autonomous administration”, and he calls himself on Facebook as “Ameer Hurputlu”, wrote on May 7: In Afrin, everything is permitted away from the eyes of the media. ”
He added, “Assaulting the media activists during any event in this city has become a regular matter among government institutions, especially the police.”
Following: “When there is an event in Afrin (bombing) I do not go to the site, because I know there will be a conflict between me and the police, at least in order to prevent filming in the city, but I went to the location of the explosion that happened recently in the city of Afrin (without a camera) and I saw bloody scenes of the charred remains and bodies of the victims. ”
While others wrote on their pages, criticizing the destructive Turkish role in the Syrian regions, a media writer called “Wael Abdel Aziz” wrote that portraying the problem in the Euphrates shield or Afrin and the entire regions of eastern and northern Aleppo as internal only is inaccurate, there is a Turkish external will that wants the continuation of chaos and rampant insecurity, fighting national powers as entities and individuals, supporting bandits and thieves as leaders and creating ethnic problems at the expense of what is patriotic is carried out under Turkish patronage.
The strange thing is that this awakening, if it was true, did not come after the occupation of Afrin, but after completing Ankara, it played with them as hired agents and killers, then it justified its attacks on northeastern Syria and occupied after Afrin a wide region between “Sere Kaniyeh / Ras Al-Ain” and “Gre Spi / Tal Abiyad. ”
Now, after Ankara’s decision to seek to annix and occupy Syrian lands, and send the militants as hired killers again to Libya after Afrin and eastern Euphrates, and after selling half of the Idlib area and the possibilities of selling the other half, it appears that some of these settlers have started to awake, but after it’s too late.
