As a result of their territorial disputes and infighting over influence, armed confrontations for immoral reasons emerged from time to time between the militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood.

In the context, a reporter for “Afrinpost” in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, said that an armed man of the “Military Police” called “Abu Dia”, had put two gunmen from the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia in an ambush in a brothel house in which five young women, it was established under the name of the house of “The Wives of Martyrs” in Al-Mahmoudia neighborhood in the vicinity of Tishreen School.

The reporter stated that the ambush included the screaming of women, based on a previous agreement with the so-called “Abu Dia”, who was quick to intervene and arrest them on the pretext of “storming the house and harassing women”, as the “Military Police” militia is currently requesting 3 thousand dollars from each of them under the name of “honorary”.

On May 15th, the Syrian Observatory said that drunken gunmen stormed a house inhabited by women and children only in the city of Afrin, in an attempt to assault women.

The observatory stated at the time that the drunken men fired gunshots from the residential house after they stormed it, in an attempt to intimidate women under the influence of alcohol, to provide gunmen from the “Ahrar Al-Shariya militia to which the two militants belong”, and others from the “Military Police” militia to surround the house and arrest the militants after an armed clash took place with them.
