Afrinpost – Special
Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who are known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, continue to fight the livelihood of the remaining indigenous Kurdish population in the occupied Afrin region, by imposing a set of royalties and practices that ultimately lead to impoverishment and restrictions on them in order to displace them for the benefit of settlers loyal to it.
In this context, the Islamic militia extorted the people of Rajo district in Afrin, on the pretext that they are cooperating with the “Afrin Liberation Forces”, where the “Afrinpost” correspondent in the district center said that the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya Militia” imposed royalties on the people of Rajo district and the villages under their control on the pretext that there are fighters for the “Afrin Liberation Forces” and that the villagers are helping them.
The correspondent indicated that the militia imposed on each Kurdish house 50 thousand SP, under the threat of arrest, under the pretext of their dealings with the “Afrin Liberation Forces.”
The correspondent added that the people of the Raju district center woke up on the day of the holiday to find a “Democratic Union Party” flag raised in the town center, and accordingly, the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” militia began requesting royalties from the people, on the pretext of their dealings with the “Democratic Union Party”.
The reporter added that the people are fully convinced that the militia is the one who raised the flag there, to accuse the people of sponsoring the party and legalizing imposing royalties on them.
Royalties in the center of the “Raju” district are only a continuation of the robberies, seizures and imposition of royalties since the occupation of Afrin.
