Afrinpost – Special

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood who are known as the (Syrian National Army / Free Army) intent to fabricate clashes between each other, with the aim of creating confusion and putting more pressure on Kurdish civilians, under the supervision of Turkish intelligence, to push them to leave their land and reach a more comprehensive demographic change more than what is currently being implemented in the formerly Kurdish autonomous region of Afrin, in northern Syria.

In the context, four gunmen from the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia were injured in clashes that erupted yesterday between them and the “Al-Shamal Brigade” militia in the occupied center of the Afrin region, where the “Afrinpost” correspondent said that the clashes took place using heavy weapons for an hour, in the area from “Kawah Roundabout” to Al-Mahmoudiyah neighborhood in Afrin city center.

The correspondent added that the “Al-Shamal Brigade” militia was in the process of procuring ammunition from smugglers affiliated with the “Al-Shamiya” militia, but it seized the ammunition and arrested eight of them, and took them to a house near the water channel, for the “Al-Shamiya” to arrest the gunmen from “ Al-Shamal ”, which led to clashes between the two parties.

The security chaos deepens between the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, and continues to the point of carrying out assassinations and bombings targeting the leaders of the militias fighting among them.

Armed confrontations between rival militias are repeated on a regional basis, or because of competition for control, influence, money, and barriers, and are not just taking place in Afrin, but also the various occupied areas, where violent clashes erupted between the Brotherhood militias on Sunday, in the occupied “Ras al-Ain / Sir Kaneh” city Northeast of Syria, with machine guns and Arbije shells, between militants (Ahrar al-Sharqiya – al-Mu’tasim Brigade – Al-Qa’qa Brigade – and the Division Twenty).

The confrontations resulted in the death of two gunmen from the “Al-Mu’tasim Brigade” militia and the injury of others, amid information about the deaths and injuries of other militias, as a result of their dispute over the sharing of funds and royalties imposed on the people, in addition to the seizure of private property of civilians.
