Afrinpost – Special
Afrinpost correspondent said that a number of militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, and their families of the settlers, have left the city center of Afrin heading to Idlib and the city of Gire Spi / Tel Abyad, after the Turkish occupation cut their salaries because of their refusal to join the battles in Libya.
The reporter explained that six settlement families had left the Al-Mahmoudiyah neighborhood near the Industrial School, three families had left a building near the Mahmudiyah checkpoint, and five families from the Ashrafieh neighborhood, noting that some of them had left for Idlib, and another had gone to the city of “Tal Abyad” .
One of the settlements expressed her intention to leave the city of Afrin, saying: “We will go out, anyway, we will get out of here.”
This comes in conjunction with the continued departure of the people of Idlib who fled to the occupied region, from the center of the region, especially from the random camps set up on the outskirts of main roads, squares and between olive fields, as well as some of those who lived in apartments in the city.
Whereas, the militants of the occupation militias intend to lock the houses that the people of Idlib have prepared, intending to seize them after the people of Idlib evacuated these houses and leave Afrin to their villages and towns in Idlib countryside, despite the presence of the home owners from the indigenous Kurdish population of Afrin, where those militias demand the sum of US $ 500 for the delivery of these apartments on the pretext that they are the ones that prepared and clad these apartments.
It is noteworthy that thousands of Idlib residents who had gone to Afrin during the battles that took place between the militants of the Turkish occupation and the Syrian regime in Idlib, have returned to Idlib, preferring to live in the areas of the Syrian regime over the humiliation and exploitation that the occupation militias exercised against them in the occupied territory of Afrin.
