Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to abuse indigenous people who remained on their land in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, as part of their efforts to displace them and settle in their lands.
In this regard, the Afrinpost correspondent in Jenderes district said that although the Islamic religion pardoned the mentally retarded people from religious obligations such as fasting, the Turkish occupation and its Islamic militia punished even them under the pretext of not fasting .
The reporter stated that the Kurdish citizen, “Muhyiddin Sheikh Na’asan” was wandering in one of the markets of “Jenderes” in the Afrin region while he was smoking, which prompted a group of “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia to attack him using knives and sharp tools, where they deliberately beat him.
Pointing out that after a number of the people of the area intervened and dispersed them, the citizen, “Mohyiddin”, got out of their hands, barely escaping with his life.
The incident is only a continuation of the ongoing assaults and persecutions since the occupation of Afrin, where Islamic militia militants seek to create an atmosphere of intimidation among the Kurdish indigenous population, in order to prevent them from responding to their persistent and various violations like theft, robbery, looting and seizure and physical assault.
