As a result of its differences, confrontations and disputes arise between the militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood on the one hand, and some settlers from different environments, on the other hand, in all areas of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin.
In this context, a reporter for the “Afrinpost” in the Afrin center said that armed clashes erupted yesterday evening, between the militia of the “Al-Shamal Front” (the majority of whose militia are from the northern countryside of Aleppo), and settlers from the Damascus countryside, in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, which resulted in the injury of two settlers, one of them seriously.
The correspondent pointed out that the “Al-Oso” group, affiliated to the “Shamiya” militia, clashed with a group of settlers for unknown reasons, and the clashes led to the injury of peopl from Douma city of Damascus countryside, one of whom was called Muhammad Juma, pointing out that the settlers had brought in support, which might lead to subsequent clashes.
The disputes and confrontations between settlers and armed men are frequent, especially those belonging to different regions, the most recent of which was the demonstration of a number of settlers from Eastern Ghouta on the sixteenth of April, against the “Military Police” militia, to demand the release of an official in the office of the so-called “ The Ghouta Displaced ” but the militia dispersed the demonstration by force before they reached its headquarters.
Also, a week ago, a leader in the “Hamzah Brigade” militia assaulted a settler in the village of “Marateh / Marate” of the occupied center of Afrin, because he refused to provide his headquarters with electricity for free, which led to his severe injury, to be treated in a hospital in the city, according to the reporter , who explained that the leader in the “Al Hamza” militia is called “Abu Diab”, and he attacked the settler “Abu Faisal”, who works for the owner of the electric generator “Jiger”, because he refused to provide his headquarters with electric power for free, as the settler Abu Faisal” is still in the hospital.
