The Afrinpost correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, said that the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to seize the properties of the indigenous people, by armed force and coercion.

In that context, “Afrinpost” learned today, Thursday, from its sources in the occupied center of Afrin region, that the militia of the “Sultan Murad Brigade” militia expelled a Kurdish elderly woman from her home in the old Afrin neighborhood, and they offended her then seized her home, including its contents and furniture.

The sources confirmed that a group of gunmen between the ages of 18-19, belonging to the militia of “Sultan Murad”, expelled the Kurdish elderly militia “Umm Hannan”, who is sixty years old, from her house located in the vicinity of the Jihan Hospital in ancient Afrin, and insulted her in front of the people on the street without being able to protect her.

The sources pointed out that the gunmen took advantage of the situation of the elderly woman as a widow living alone in the house, while her son “Hannan” resides in Damascus, and then they took over her house with the contents of household furniture and property, and the Kurdish elderly is the daughter of the citizen “Hannan Odik” of the people of Jalama village, and married to a man from the Arab component of the people of Aleppo.

The incident is only a continuation of the ongoing robberies since the occupation of Afrin, and Islamic militias in most villages have prevented many citizens from returning to their homes and properties after seizing them, on the pretext that they have become military headquarters for Islamic militias, or that settlers with relatives of the militants have settled there!
