The Association for the Defense of Endangered Peoples, based in Germany today, released a statement on rumors of secret deals between Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Erdogan, after signing the Moscow protocol on March 5.
The organization said that the Turkish president wants to resettle the displaced and displaced from the Kurdish Afrin located in northern Aleppo in the Arab province of Raqqa as described, and the organization considered the matter “dangerous” stressing that “the people of Afrin want to return to their homes in Afrin and not to Raqqa.”
In a special statement to “Afrinpost”, the head of the Middle East department in the association, Dr. “Kamal Sido” said: “If this happens, this process of double demographic change: the demographic change in Afrin Kurdish and Al-Raqqa.”
“Seedo” added that this matter is an incitement to a national conflict between Arabs and Kurds, pointing out that the self-administration has thwarted this conflict by adopting an anti-hatred and hatred policy between the national and religious components in Syria.
The official of the Threatened Peoples Association affirmed that Turkey and the Syrian regime have a direct interest in such conflict.
The Society for Threatened Peoples was founded in 1968 and has observer status in both the European Union and the United Nations.
