Yesterday, Monday, Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood kidnapped a Kurdish citizen from his workplace in the ancient Afrin neighborhood and took him to an unknown destination, according to the “Afrinpost” reporter in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin.

The reporter confirmed that the gunmen had kidnapped the former Afrin sports club player, “Riad Hanan Hassan” from his workplace (a store for satellite installation ), and his fate is still unknown.

The citizen, Radwan, is 50 years old. He is from the village of Meskeh / Maskanli, in the district of Jenderes. He is married and has two children. He played with the Afrin club in the 1990s.

The Islamic militias do not stop kidnapping the Kurdish indigenous people in Afrin, in the context of attempts to restrict them to push them towards leaving their lands to the settlers, and displacing them towards Aleppo or east of the Euphrates.

On March 21, the militia of the “Sultan Murad Brigade” stormed the village of “Chema / Jamanli”, of “Shara / Sharan” district, and kidnapped the Kurdish citizen “Fakhri Abu Ali” after they took away the phones from the whole family members. Fakhri, 34 years old, was kidnapped in a previous period and was released after paying a ransom of US $ 1,000.

Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, which is one of the methods they followed since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation supervises these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
